The Neo 1 project will be Lesotho’s first IPP. Sited in Mafeteng province in western Lesotho, the Neo 1 Project will add 24 MW to a grid with ~ 105 MW existing installed generation capacity. With ~180 MW in peak demand, currently met by importing energy from Mozambique and South Africa, the project will help close the electricity supply gap.
